Kid Icarus
Academic project of the Sound Design 2 course
This project corresponds to the third installment of the Sound Design course, taught by Nico Franza.
The objective of this installment is to strengthen the application of the techniques of creating effects and timbres using modular or subtractive synthesis. To do this, Nico recommends using a fragment of gameplay that fits the aesthetics of the sounds we produce, and that is why I chose the first level of Kid Icarus from 1986 for NES.
For this video, all those sounds that sound, are recreated from scratch with Voltage Modular and Vital.
The list of assets includes:
Shots
Jumps
Hearts
Enemy death
Playing in the background the Underworld theme.
