Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy
Academic project of the Film Scoring 2 course
This project corresponds to one of the deliverables of the Film Scoring 2 course, taught by Gabriel Garrido.
Gabriel proposes us to make a composition for a freely chosen kinematics using the different techniques seen in class.
To make the composition of the cinematic, I have "listened" to the scene and transferred with music what I think it wants to transmit. That is why I make a visualization without context, understanding the image and pointing out everything that attracts me.
In my opinion, it has a clearly spectral, magical beginning, so I look for chords and a sonority that describes this idea.
From the second 40 we have a comic point, so the music will stop and evolve or change to this theme. Later it will return to that magic, resuming the journey of both protagonists.
